Eighteen-year-old student Tomáš Čermák, who works at the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, won the award together with 19-year-old Anna Podmanická from Slovakia.

European experts in Plasma-Wall Interaction and Exhaust met in IPP Prague in the frame of the EUROfusion WP PWIE meeting (24-27 March 2025) to discuss recent progress related to particle & heat loads, erosion and material migration, T retention, plasma characterization & laser-based diagnostics, and wall conditioning in fusion devices.

The Crytur 2024 Award for the Master's Thesis
The master's thesis of Ing. Filip Wick, titled "Influence of powder granulometry on mechanical and fatigue properties of CSAM Al" received an honorable mention in the prestigious Crytur 2024 Award competition in the field of materials science.
