Our colleague Jiří Junek has been awarded 2nd place in the prestigious Werner von Siemens competition for his PhD thesis.
His research, conducted at the TOPTEC Centre in Turnov (IPP), introduces a groundbreaking approach to imaging photoluminescence dynamics, with findings that have the potential to positively impact the green energy sector. The award also goes to his supervisor, Karel Zidek, and his entire research group for their innovative contributions to science. The award ceremony took place on March 19, 2025 at Bethlehem Chapel.
