With the support of IPP, students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech Technical University built an educational DEMO tokamak model from a LEGO® kit within the framework of the Strategy AV21 to illustrate what fusion reactors in fusion power plants will look like.
The model contains more than 4200 pieces. At the Science Fair, the model attracted the attention not only of children and teenagers but also of the Minister of Science, Research and Innovation Helena Langšádlová accompanied by the President of the CAS Prof. Eva Zažímalová. The model will be further used as a demonstration of fusion reactors in The Week of the CAS and then it will be placed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Dejvice.
