IBS Conference on Laser Plasma Accelerators, which was held at Seogwipo-KAL hotel, Jeju island, Korea, from August 27 to September 1, 2017.
In this conference approximately 150 participants were joining from the field of laser plasma accelerators. The meeting also offed the opportunity to present the latest developments in laser and particle-beam drivers, novel accelerator concepts, diagnostics, high-field science, other particle sources, high-energy density plasmas and applications of next generation accelerators.
The recent results of PALS were presented by Dr. Miroslav Krůs in his talk which was called "Short electron bunches accelerated by laser wakefield at PALS for applications from electron diffraction to nuclear physics". He also discussed optimization of acceleration and injection conditions and also potential application.
