Best Oral Presentation Award to Jiří Fujera at 10th CESPC.
Jiří Fujera from the Pulsed Plasma Systems Department IPP won the Best Oral Presentation Award for his lecture entitled "Analysis of complex and overlapping molecular spectra in nitrogen-oxygen-hydrocarbon mixtures: vibrational distributions and rotational temperatures".

The 21th annual SUMmer Training Course (SUMTRAIC) took place from Monday, August 25th to Friday, September 5th at the Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP), organized by Dr. Jordan Cavalier.

Installation of sensors developed at IPP on the ITER international fusion reactor
The installation of a second set of Hall magnetic field sensors, developed at the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, has been successfully completed on the ITER thermonuclear reactor.

Ondřej Ficker awarded the Otto Wichterle Prize
On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Radomír Pánek, presented the Otto Wichterle Prize to young researchers at the beginning of their careers. One of the awardees is Ondřej Ficker from the Fusion Plasma Division.
