The "TS4E 2026 symposium—Thermal Spray of Suspensions and Solutions Symposium + EBCs" was held at the IPP

 

Academics and leading industry experts from around the world gathered in Prague, including representatives from companies such as Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, Siemens Energy, Safran, Curtiss-Wright, GKN Aerospace, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Together, they discussed the latest developments in suspension and solution thermal spraying, as well as thermal barrier and environmental barrier coatings (TBC/EBC).

 

The program featured expert lectures, a poster session, a panel discussion, a workshop focused on RF-ICP technology, and tours of the IPP laboratories. A key aspect of the conference was fostering connections between academia and industry, establishing new contacts, and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.
