At the International Cold Spray Conference & Expo 2026, held this year in Chennai, India, our research on the fracture-mechanical properties of composite CS materials received the Best Paper Award.
The research was conducted during a three-month stay of the lead author, K. Raddi from Politecnico di Milano in Italy, at the Materials Department of our Institute and represents another step forward in preparation of composite materials with high strength and low density, as well as in understanding the unique properties of materials prepared by the cold spray method.
