From Sunday, April 28 to Thursday, May 2, 2024, the 15th Frontiers in Low Temperature Plasma Diagnostics workshop was held at Liblice Castle near Prague.
The workshop was organized by the Local Organizing Committee (members of the Pulse Plasma Systems department) and the International Scientific Committee led by Milan Šimek (IPP Prague) and Uwe Czarnetzki (RUB Bochum).
The workshop offered an exciting program covering all types of diagnostics, including emission
and laser diagnostics, probes, particle analysis, electrical measurements and more. 8 invited
lectures by world-renown experts presented leading edge results and new directions in the field.
Another 21 topical lectures were selected from the submitted abstracts, which contributed to a
lively scientific exchange. Last but not least, 43 poster presentations offered further
opportunities for in-depth discussions.
The workshop once again became a showcase of the latest cutting-edge results in the field of
low-temperature plasma diagnostics and a place for a fruitful exchange of views contributing to the
further development of low-temperature plasma science, which has always provided and will continue
to provide a real and timely solution to the fundamental questions of the sustainability of the
development of our modern society.
